Hello and welcome to my blog!

That's my husband and me!

I am so glad you stopped by to visit my blog and learn a little bit about me!  I am going into my 7th year of teaching (5th year teaching kindergarten) and I absolutely love it!  Growing up I loved doing arts and crafts and creating all kinds of things and knew I wanted a job that incorporated my love of creating and voila!  I have found my calling in life!  The combination of spending time with children who have an uninhibited joy and interest in life and finding fun and creative ways to teach them is a dream come true.  It is rare that someone gets to work every day in a job they love, so I am very blessed!
I currently work at a small Christian school in Massachusetts and very much enjoy the staff, families, and environment.  I just finished my masters in arts in teaching and am thrilled that I have accomplished that part of my life and can apply what I have learned to my teaching and... have a little extra time on my hands! ;-)
During my free time I like to make all kinds of crafts, I am not too picky, I also like to paint, spend time outside, garden, decorate, shop at Michael's or Hobby Lobby :), and hang out with my friends and family.  On summer vacation my husband and I love to go to Cape Cod on the weekends and revisit the place we got married.  I am introverted by nature but love to make lasting and deep relationships with the people that come into my life.  An aspiration I have is to one day take a trip to Europe and if that doesn't happen, open my own floral shop!!  That's all I have about me, what about you?
